I apologize for not individually contacting you, but the pandemic has made one-on-one calls difficult.
As you know, the above-referenced CARES Act grant is divided into two disbursements. The first is for increased testing, staffing, PPE needs, and the establishment of isolation facilities. The second, a performance-based grant, requiring programs and technology to prevent and control COVID-19 spread. KnowFalls provides solutions for both disbursements.
CARES Act Disbursement 1
The KnowFalls Virtual Patient Engagement System enables the isolation of COVID-19 infected patients within their room or a predesignated room. The System provides caregiver-patient audio/video engagement, records patient actions, generates reports on COVID-19 symptoms, and reduces physical rounds and PPE.
CARES Act Disbursement 2
As shown in Exhibit 1 and 2, KnowFalls has multiple systems addressing the second disbursement - preventing and controlling COVID-19. System descriptions can be accessed at:
Virtual Patient Care Systems Foundation
Each of the above Systems is reliable and cost-effective. They are built upon the Milestone Video Management System (VMS). It is the world's leading VMS and installed within 1000's of healthcare and safety environments. Through the Milestone SDK, KnowFalls has customized the VMS to be HIPAA compliant where required. The diagram below illustrates how KnowFalls uses the Milestone VMS.

Post-Pandemic System Usage
A key differentiator of the KnowFalls Virtual Patient Cares Systems is their post-Pandemic use. For example, the Virtual Patient Engagement System can monitor fall-risk and post-op patients. Another example is the Nursing Home Centric TeleHealth System. First, it eliminates staff training for the diverse telehealth systems used by clinicians, specialists, and therapist service providers. And secondly, the System generates nursing home revenue, which will significantly increase as CMS expands payment for additional healthcare services.
Zoom Presentation
I have tentatively arranged for a 40 minute, Zoom Session (see below) at 3 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 23, to discuss and demo some of the KnowFalls Virtual Patient Care Systems for you. Please let me know if the time/date is convenient. I can be reached at johnmontelione@knowfalls.com or t#941.724.9700.
My best,
