System Information
The Face Mask Sentry is an artificial intelligence based application. It operates as a stand-alone system or added to any KnowFalls or compatible system. The Sentry, via is a facial recognition, identifies whether an individual is wearing or not wearing a mask.  The application can operate independently or with an operator.  In either mode, when a person without a face mask is detected, the system can either generate an alert and/or save the image for a subsequent review with the non-compliant individual.  The alert can be announcement at the camera location or a text message sent to an attending caregiver.

Implementation

The Face Mask Sentry can operate with any currently installed surveillance camera.  As shown in the illustration below, typical camera locations are the interior of the nursing home entrance, gathering areas and service locations, such as beauty salons.

If cameras are not currently installed, KnowFalls recommends  the Axis M1065 camera for its versatility.  The day-night vision camera is small, easy to mount on walls, corners or mobile stands, supports both wireless and POE networks, and has an embedded microphone and speaker.
